Retracing our Huguenot and Anglican Roots

by Church Staff

As part of Manakin’s 325th Anniversary celebration, 24 Manakin pilgrims embarked on an amazing journey to explore and research our Huguenot and Anglican roots in England and France.

Among the many places visited during the August trip: Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Canterbury; Normandy, Paris, and the Notre-Dame Cathedral. Each day featured prayers, a growing understanding of our church’s history, camaraderie, new experiences, and wonderful food.

We thank our pilgrims for sharing, during a Family Forum, the story of their adventure.
