We welcome children of all ages to our worship services and Christian formation classes and activities. At Manakin, church is a place where children can learn of God’s love and grace and what it means to fully participate in a loving, church family.
In Christian Formation, we strive to provide a safe and sacred place where learning and growing in God’s love may become a lifelong process. In classes, children:
- Explore spiritual practices
- Engage the stories of the Bible through creative storytelling and wonder about how these stories may be reflected in their own lives
- Participate in monthly outreach programs so they might learn what it means to be God’s hands and feet in the world
3-years Old to 5th Grade
Children ages 3 to 5th grade meet in Denny Hall at 9:45 a.m. Children join the adults in worship during the passing of the peace and observe the celebration of the Eucharist.
