Our next feeding program will take place on Saturday, March 28, at 9:00 a.m. in Denny Hall. We will be packing and delivering 100 lunches for 3 homeless shelters. A sign-up sheet will be located in Denny Hall.

The next Gathering Place service with which Manakin is involved will be Sunday, March 8. Please join us in this brief service and fellowship, which is also an opportunity to worship with our former deacon, the Rev. Becki Dean.
Many thanks to Sue and Bill Daniels for volunteering to prepare and take the lunches to this worthwhile Outreach ministry.
The Gathering Place is held at 2:30 p.m. on Decatur Street near the intersection with Jefferson Davis Highway.

Please join us for our next Book Club meeting on Tuesday, March 17. We will be reading Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls. We will meet at 5:00 p.m., and you are encouraged to bring a bag supper if you wish.
Our final club meeting before we break for summer will be on May 19, and we will be discussing The Invention Of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd. We also will be bringing reading suggestions and setting our upcoming calendar.
We always have an interesting and thoughtful discussion and encourage you to join us.
