Blessing of the Animals

Join us as we come together with our beloved pets for the Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 1. We will meet at 1:00 p.m. in the outdoor worship area at Manakin. All pets are welcome!

Ending the Silence

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and together Manakin Episcopal Church and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will offer opportunities for conversation about this difficult topic. Our goal is to bring comfort and hope to those affected by suicide and to provide resources to those in need of help.

September 10 – Recognition of World Suicide Awareness Day
September 17 – 9:00 a.m. Adult Forums at both churches
September 19 – 7:00 p.m. at Manakin Church. Community Forum with Ray Paul, Chair of the National Board of Directors at the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention
September 24 – 1:00 p.m. at Manakin Church. Youth Conversation with Amanda Swindle and Amanda Long, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Pizza will be provided.
