On Sunday, February 1, Manakin’s youth will be collecting donations after both the 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and before the 11:15 a.m. worship services to benefit Richmond Friends of the Homeless.
This annual campaign was started by the Boy Scouts in South Carolina many years ago and has benefited local soup kitchens all across the United States. Money collected that morning will help Richmond Friends of the Homeless provide as many as 3300 nourishing meals to those in need on a weekly basis here in the Greater Richmond community!
